FAQ

What is your return policy? 

Items can be brought back for exchange or store credit only within 60 days of purchase. Items being returned must be in original, resellable condition.

Oddbelle reserves the right to refuse returns under certain circumstances, including items damaged after purchase, items purchased a long time ago, or items purchased from other stores (yes that has happened before!). But, we will always do our best to find you something else you'll love!

Do you accept artist submissions?

Usually yes, but at the moment our submissions are closed due to the many projects we currently have in the works. Please check back as we will likely reopen submissions later in 2026!

Do you sell smudge/saining sticks, white sage, etc?

We do not sell smudge sticks, palo santo or white sage products. These products have a long history of use with Indigenous peoples, and are part of closed practices, so we do not feel comfortable selling them as we are not initiated practitioners or members of that culture. Also, overharvesting due to the misappropriation of these spiritual supplies means that ethically sourcing them is really not possible. 

You sell oddities like bones and insects; are they ethically-sourced?

Yes! Before we begin working with an oddities vendor, we carefully vet them to ensure that their practices are ethical, sustainable, and in-line with all state and federal laws regarding the sale of animal parts. We do not sell any pieces that feature migratory birds, endangered species, or animals listed on Maryland's Wildlife Trafficking Prevention Act. 

Do you sell AI art or products?

Absolutely not. OddBelle is staunchly anti-AI and we carefully vet all the brands we work with to ensure that no AI content is making it's way into the shop. If an AI product were to happen to sneak past us, we would sever our relationship with that brand. No AI Slop here!

I just placed an order, when will it ship?

We always do our best to process and ship your order as soon as possible, and are generally able to ship your order within 2 business days. We generally ship via USPS priority mail so that you get your package quickly. If you need your order asap, feel free to leave us a note with your purchase or send us an email and we'll do our best to accommodate! 

Will you donate to my fundraiser/charity/etc?

Unfortunately, we get far more donation requests than our very tight margins can support, so at this time we are not accepting donation inquiries. We have a few local organizations we partner with, as well as our own in-house fundraisers, and for the moment that is the most we can do. We hope to be able to do more donations in the future!

Are you hiring?

Unfortunately, we are not hiring at this time, but we recommend checking out The Downtown Frederick Partnership, they have listings of all available jobs here in downtown Frederick!
